ThirdSpot verifies every member's government-issued photo ID and age before approval (see how verification works). In this environment, verification runs against a development identity-verification adapter using the legal name and date of birth from the previous step — a production deployment embeds the verification vendor's own secure capture flow here instead, so a government-ID image is never uploaded to ThirdSpot's own servers either way.
